Cristiano Ronaldo continued his goal-scoring form as Al Nassr scored 3 past Al Akhdoud. The Portuguese forward scored a brace as he kept Al Nassr within the distance of toppers Al Hilal. Unsurprisingly, the former Real Madrid star has received massive praise, including from current stars of the Spanish club, Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo.

The Brazilian starlets have expressed their admiration for Ronaldo previously as well. The youngsters are taking inspiration from CR7 whereas the 38-year-old continues to dominate the Saudi Pro League and shut down the critics.

Cristiano Ronaldo is running riot in the form of goals at the moment with Al Nassr. The 38-year-old scored a brace including a 40-yard stunner as Al Nassr defeated Al Akhdoud 3-0. Real Madrid stars Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr were quick to praise Ronaldo. Under his Instagram post, Vinicius Jr made the comment “SIIIII” with the crown symbol on either side of the comment. Rodrygo commented with a face with a heart-eye and a goat emoji.

Goals from Cristiano Ronaldo also received praise from the soccer fans. It looks like the Portuguese made the best decision to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window. He has regained his goalscoring touch at the right moment for both club and country.

However, at the moment a contract extension is not the priority for both parties. The main target is to win the Saudi Pro League ahead of current table toppers Al Hilal this season.

The Portuguese forward still has a big task to complete for Al Nassr for the rest of the season

Al Nassr is currently 2nd in the Saudi Pro League table. They are currently 1 point behind leaders Al Hilal. Al Hilal has also played one game less than Cristiano Ronaldo’s team. The Blue Waves are also yet to lose a single game in the Saudi league. This is a big challenge for the Portuguese and the rest of the team.

However, they have two advantages in terms of availability. Brazilian star Neymar will certainly miss the rest of the season. Whereas, forward Aleksandr Mitrovic also has an injury issue due to consistent knee pain. This would provide Al Nassr the best chance to leapfrog to the top of the table during the busy schedule this month and the next month.
