When the match was over and players were about to leave the pitch, a Spurs fan standing on the sideboard decided to take revenge. During the kerfuffle in the end somehow, Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale ended up there. Taking the advantage at hand, fans kicked him in the back and ran away.
Tottenham made no delay in issuing a statement deriding the action of the supporter along with saying, “The club has reviewed its CCTV footage to identify the supporter and will be working with the Met Police, Arsenal, and Aaron Ramsdale to take the strongest possible action, including an immediate ban from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.” The fan will most definitely regret the decision of kicking a professional athlete.
