Luis Suarez seems to have taken on the role of the main character. While the Uruguayan international took no time to score a brace within the first fifteen minutes of the ongoing match against Orlando City, he found himself embroiled in a brawl shortly after. This incident transpired while the players from both sides were heading down the tunnel to cool off at halftime.

Suarez igniting a heated confrontation didn’t stop the other Herons’ stars from stepping in. He was seen quarreling with members of Orlando City’s lineup at the end of the first half. However, Inter Miami skipper DeAndre Yedlin managed to separate his fellow teammate. Likewise, Sergio Busquets was seen cooling down the situation as the Spanish midfielder took part in the discussion with the officials more calmly. Notably, it’s still not clear why the altercation occurred in the first place.

However, from the looks of the video that surfaced on the internet, it seems that an Orlando staff member said something that Suarez must have heard and apparently didn’t sit well with him. Either way, time will clarify what exactly sparked the chaos. After all, it was expected that tensions would flare in such a highly anticipated Florida derby. In fact, Tata Martino and Co. took it a notch above by ending the first 45 minutes with sheer dominance.

This is the kind of performance that all Inter Miami fans have been rooting for. In just four minutes, Luis Suarez found the back of the net, thanks to a great setup by midfielder Julian Gressel. El Pistolero continued his momentum as the 37-year-old added to his tally with a second goal, courtesy once again of an assist from Gressel.

Unfortunately, things went downhill for Orlando City as David Beckham‘s soccer franchise quickly went 3-0 up in the 29th minute. Luis Suarez had a chance to score a quick hat trick. However, he unselfishly passed the ball to Robert Taylor, who neatly tucked the ball into the net.

So far, it’s a walk in the park for Inter Miami at the Chase Stadium. Lionel Messi and his teammates have been maintaining momentum by pressing hard against Orlando. Similarly, a much more energetic approach is visible, not allowing the away side to keep possession for long. Perhaps the previous draw against the LA Galaxy helped them identify their faults. Let’s see how this contest ends.
