VIDEO – Here’s How PSG Celebrated Kylian Mbappe’s 25th Birthday

Kylian Mbappe seems to have been around for long, but only recently turned 25. There hasn’t been a grand celebration from the player, with PSG set to take on Metz on the day of his birthday. However, his fellow teammates found a way to celebrate his birthday by giving him special treatment during the team’s practice session.

PSG boss Luis Enrique talked about his relationship with the Frenchman during his latest press conference. The Spaniard claimed he has a great relationship with the player and has always shared a close bond with Kylian.

Paris Saint Germain had an interesting practice session last evening with the players celebrating Kylian Mbappe’s birthday a day in advance. Mbappe, during the start of the session, can be seen running away from his teammates as Gianluigi Donnarumma and Presnel Kimpembe try to drag him towards the other players.

Achraf Hakimi soon joined the duo to drag Mbappe towards a tunnel made by his teammates. The Frenchman quickly ran through the tunnels with his teammates, giving him some friendly slaps to celebrate his birthday. The side will hope to provide the player with the perfect birthday gift as they take on Metz tonight.

Kylian Mbappe has been in great form this season, with the player emerging as PSG’s top goal-scorer with 16 goals to his name. Luis Enrique too was full of praise for the striker, claiming he had a great relationship with the player.

The PSG boss was full of praise for Kylian Mbappe in his recent press conference. The Spaniard claimed, “As always, we have a perfect relationship. We’re not a couple, but almost. Mainly because he’s the one who doesn’t want to (laughs). I don’t know why you keep asking me this question. I’m very close to most of my players. With Kylian from the start, we have always been close.” 

Enrique added, “He is someone who makes jokes and always smiles. I am delighted with him and not only with Kylian but with everyone, even if I know that the players who play less are a little less happy. We have always been very close with Kylian.”

Luis Enrique could play a big role in convincing Kylian Mbappe to stay at the club with the player’s contract set to expire come 2024. Do you think Mbappe will stay with PSG?
