After the match was over, they could see Cristiano Ronaldo limping his way out of the pitch. This could have been a huge problem had they won the match. However, since the season is almost over, Ronaldo will get ample time to rest. The match was sort of a nightmare for him and his fans. At the final whistle, the score was 3-1 and fans were about to do something unprecedented.
Fans turned against him after a disappointing night
Not only did Cristiano Ronaldo have to see his team lose the knockout game yet again, but he also had to hear the same fans who cheered him, shouting Lionel Messi’s name as he limped while going out from the pitch.
