After a long slump, Cristiano Ronaldo is back to scoring goals and taking his team to win single-handedly. In January 2023, after parting ways with Manchester United following a messy series of events, Ronaldo Joined the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr FC.

In his first few matches, he missed a few chances and was booed and the audience chanted the name of his arch-rival Lionel Messi as he limped out of the pitch. However, after a few matches, he bounced back and showed the fans why he is worth 200 million USD.

Against Al-Wehda, CR7 scored 4 goals and led his team to a 4-0 win, and a match later against Damac he broke the league record and became the only player to score a hat trick in the first half of the game in the Saudi Pro League. These monstrous games by the Portuguese star announced to the fans that he is back in form. However, it seems like he still has a chip on his shoulder.

Ronaldo responds to a young Messi fan’s shout

A clip has been going viral on Twitter. It was after Al-Nassr had already won the game 3-1 against Al-Batin and Ronaldo was returning to the locker room. Al-Batin leads the match 1-0 till the 90th minute. When the referee added 16 minutes to the match, no one had any idea what they were about to witness.

Al-Nassr equalized in 90+3rd minute. They gained a lead in the 90+12th minute, and moments before the final whistle, they doubled their lead. 3 goals in the last 16 minutes of the game.

Even though Al-Nassr won the game, Cristiano Ronaldo went goalless and one fan had some words for the Portuguese superstar. While Ronaldo was walking past, the little fan shouted, “Messi is so much better than you” to which, he replied, “it was not an easy match“. This isn’t the first such incident.
