With two games left in their pre-season tour in the United States, Wrexham will be hoping to give their fans a nice closing gift. A win over Manchester United, no matter how blasphemous it sounds at the moment, will go down as a big feat for the side.

Wrexham’s head coach Phil Parkinson touched down on the big game during his press conference and said that his team would give his all in the contest.

“I’m probably happy with how the team are playing but we’ve got to be realistic if Man United are playing a full team out it would be a day of, an evening of not having the ball much. I still think it would be a fair game but it will be a competitive game for the supporters to watch, that’s what the aim is. For us in terms of where we need to get to, this game is going to be that for us.”
