In the three World Cups she played in (2011, 2015, 2019), she made 18 appearances and scored nine goals. Likewise, Morgan dished out three assists in her World Cup career.

Now 33, retirement talks are heating up for the soccer mom. She has a daughter named Charlie, and the duo shared a close bond. Whenever Morgan plays games, Charlie is her biggest fan. Therefore, if she is to retire, she will do it on her own terms. In an earlier podcast, she explained her intentions of ending her career. According to Just Women’s Sports, Morgan commented, “But I think a lot of athletes struggle with leaving their sport. And I do love soccer, but I would be okay leaving it.”
