According to a recent report of Yahoo Sports, US Soccer has reached a deal with TNT and Telemundo for the multilingual streaming of the USWNT matches. The deal has come on to an immediate effect. With this deal in place, US Soccer will expect the maximum output from the upcoming FIFA World Cup campaign of the team.

Speaking about the deal, Raphael Poplock, SVP of business development at Turner, said, “I’ll be honest in saying the women’s team was a huge driver of this. It is, in our humble opinion, the best women’s team in the world and one of the best teams in general in the world. Given how important it is for us to make sure that we have equitable coverage of men’s and women’s sports, there’s no better team in the world to draft off of that strategy.”

The new deals have replaced US Soccer’s established partnership with ESPN and FOX. They clarified that the main reason behind the deal was USWNT’s denomination. Telemundo’s deal has been tested before as they see around a 50% rise in Spanish-speaking soccer fans. The deals will run through the 2026 USMNT campaign of WC in the home conditions.
