The USMNT legend said, “If you can’t enjoy Messi scoring goals regardless of the circumstances, and in this case, it’s coming into a new league. Then you have no soul. You have no heart. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy it. Not everything has to signify and mean something relative to what major league soccer is, what majorly soccer isn’t, or what American soccer is or what American soccer is.”

He added, “Just sit back and enjoy one of the greatest players, arguably the greatest player ever, to play the game, continuing to do what he has done better than anybody else out there.”

Lionel Messi’s presence in the Inter Miami squad has uplifted the team’s performance and morale. Inter Miami was struggling in the MLS but after Messi’s addition, they have now become a formidable force.

La Pulga’s outstanding performance included scoring two goals and providing a crucial assist. He mesmerized the crowd with his trademark dribbling and precise finishes, leading Inter Miami to a massive 4-0 victory.
