The excitement for the 2024 Copa America continues to grow more than ever before. All 16 qualified teams will be looking to get their hands on the prestigious trophy. Among the aspirant sides is the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT). They are hosting the iconic tournament and are certainly in for unlimited support from their home fans. With the draws being announced, let’s take a look at the USMNT’s group, opponents, schedule, fixtures, and all the venues that they’ll be participating in.

Which teams have qualified for the 2024 Copa America? 

Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, and the United States of America (USA) are the teams that have qualified for Copa America 2024 so far. The winning team from Canada vs. Trinidad and Tobago and Honduras vs. Costa Rica will join in, making the total count 16.

2024 Copa America schedule

The 2024 Copa America will kick off on June 20, 2024, with the inaugural group stage match to be held in Atlanta, GA. The group stage is scheduled to continue until July 2. The top two teams from each group will progress to the knockout stage, while the bottom two teams will be eliminated.

Moving into the knockout stage, the quarterfinals are scheduled for July 4–6. Meanwhile, the semifinals will take place between July 9 and 10. Notably, the third-place match will be played on July 13, and the showdown will take place on July 14 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

Indeed, it is quite an interesting draw, and USMNT fans around the globe would be looking forward to it. Notably, the US Men’s National Team has yet to secure a Copa America title. In fact, no CONCACAF nation has been successful in disrupting the CONMEBOL dominance of the tournament since its inaugural participation in 1993. Certainly, this is yet another chance for Gregg Berhalter’s side to create history.
