Cristiano Ronaldo is going through a bit of a rough phase. After sending the entire league into a frenzy in February, the Portuguese star has calmed down. Al-Nassr is struggling, and no one has any idea why? It seems unfathomable that a team with Ronaldo has been knocked out from two tournaments and is losing the league title race.

About a couple of days back, the team sacked the manager Rudi Garcia. They brought in Dinko Jelicic as his replacement. However, his induction into the team hasn’t gone as well as the team expected. The morale seems to be at an all-time low at the camp and started the rise in conversations of Ronaldo leaving.

However, there are reports of Ronaldo doing everything to bring the team back on track. He seems to have been paving the way for his former manager at Real Madrid. Reports are coming about the Portuguese star striker making efforts to bring his close ally, Zinedine Zidane, to Al-Nassr.

Brazilian legend gives his opinion on Cristiano Ronaldo bringing Zidane

In a talk with the Bet Fair, Brazilian legend Rivaldo gave his opinion about the rising reports of Cristiano Ronaldo making efforts to bring Zidane to Al-Nassr. He talked about the hurdles that Ronaldo might face in turning this dream into a reality.

He said, “There is talk in the press that Cristiano Ronaldo is pressuring the Al-Nassr board to hire Zinedine Zidane to take over the club. And whilst I understand Ronaldo’s desire to work with someone with whom he was so happy in the past. I think it would be unusual to see Zidane move there.

Rivaldo continued, “On the other hand, Zidane could see this as a good opportunity from a financial perspective, and also his friendship for a player who gave him so much in his time at Real Madrid. Zidane will certainly have plenty of big European clubs interested in his services and leaving for a second-tier football club in Saudi Arabia would be something unexpected compared to his career goals as a manager.”
