Unsure of Comeback to Soccer After Injury, Neymar Jr Jets Off 6000+ Miles to Lionel Messi’s Favorite Vacation Spot

The Neymar fans are eagerly waiting for him to return to the pitch. After suffering a devastating foot injury earlier this year, Neymar missed around 3-4 months of soccer action for PSG. He was with the squad in Japan and South Korea for two friendlies. Amid the start of the regular season around the corner, the PSG superstar opted to fly for a vacation where Lionel Messi visits regularly.

His vacation trip comes amid the Brazilian unsure about his future. “I’m feeling good, But I don’t know when I’ll play again,” were the words of Neymar while speaking to L’Equipe recently. It seems the former Barcelona superstar doesn’t know his future at PSG, with the club reportedly looking to sell the player. Amid all this drama, Neymar recently landed in Spain to relax.

The new manager included the Brazilian in the squad for a friendly against Inter Milan in Japan. Later, Luis Enrique named him to the roster that traveled to South Korea for a friendly against Korean club, Jeonbuk. Neymar posted an exciting message over Twitter about flying to Korea. He marked his return with a brilliant brace. 

However, after the preseason tour ended, Neymar traveled 6000+ miles and landed in beautiful Ibiza, Spain. He posted it to his Instagram story with the caption, “Relax time.” The PSG superstar also posted a picture with his friends having a great time. The Brazilian has been on the move after recovering from injury. He was seen at F1 Spanish and Monaco GPs earlier. Later he was in Latin America and the US to enjoy his time before joining the squad.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Neymar next. There were rumors of the player wanting out of Paris after Ultras protested against him. However, we might see changes to the PSG plans, while unsure over the future of Kylian Mbappe. But till then, the former Barcelona superstar will enjoy his vacation in Ibiza, a go-to for his former teammate and close friend Lionel Messi.

Messi often travels to the beautiful island of Ibiza to spend quality time with his family and friends. The Argentine superstar was photographed on several occasions enjoying the trip to the island. Last year he visited with his close friends Cesc Fabregas and Luis Suarez and their partners. 

Apart from his favorite holiday getaway, Messi owns a mansion on the island. Also, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner has invested in a hotel in Ibiza. After all, it is an elegant place to be, and many soccer stars also visit the Spanish island often. And now Neymar has added his name to the list amid uncertainty over his PSG future.
