According to Diariogol, ever since his career started at RB Salzburg, he consumed 4000 calories daily. It is surprising to see staggering food intake, but his nutritionist believes in the diet given. Like most athletes, eating is like a job, and the quantity needs to be in perfect control. He ate six meals in a day with a diet that included lean meat, chicken, fish, carbohydrates, fresh fruits, and vegetables. It is a similar diet to Cristiano Ronaldo, and the duo avoids sugar. Water is a staple part of his diet and drinks up to two liters. Keeping oneself hydrated is vital for any athlete, and Haaland follows it meticulously.

Likewise, each athlete has their go-to dish, and Haaland loves kebabs. The Turkish recipe is famous globally and is made up of chicken and pork. He eats in large quantities and avoids oil and salt. Similarly to Michael Phelps’ diet, pasta is a go-to fish in his diet. Most of this amounted to his physical growth, and the diet help him to recover and build muscle.

Michael Phelps’ 10000-calorie diet!

Hearing about his dishes would make you jealous but pose certain health risks if one does not exercise. The Olympic winner ate fried egg sandwiches with cheese and vegetables, chocolate chip pancakes, omelets, French toast, grits, and coffee for breakfast. For lunch, he consumed half-kilo of pasta, hams, sandwiches, and energy drinks. And for dinner, he ate pasta with carbonara sauce, pizza, and energy drinks. This meal would feed five average men a day.

Therefore, the diet he consumed is nowhere near Haaland or Ronaldo. The importance of carbohydrates is essential in the diet, as it is fuel for workouts.
