The fairy-tale story of Wrexham AFC has been captivating fans across the globe with its meteoric rise. Hollywood’s own Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney became the owners of the Welsh soccer club in 2020, giving fans hope for good fortunes and success.
Ever since then, the team has been on a roll and this season is even close to gaining promotion to the fourth division. The Red Dragons currently sit at the top of the table in the National League with a lead of 4 points over its competition.
This success story wasn’t lost on the global MMA megastar, Conor McGregor. ‘The Notorious’ graciously donated to a Wrexham-based charity before Wrexham’s game against Yeovil Town and even prompted words of appreciation from Wrexham star Paul Mullin.
