Lionel Messi did not show up in London to receive his 3rd FIFA The Best Men’s award. He is busy in the Inter Miami training camp, preparing for the pre-season. Luis Suarez is alongside Messi for the first time since 2020, familiarizing himself with the Herons’ playing style. It was an emotional moment for fans to see this reunion. Likewise, joining the Barcelona greats on the field has left a 17-year-old Miami prodigy, Tyler Hall, on cloud nine. He is yet to fathom if the ‘great opportunity‘ to train with these legends is a dream or reality.
The Herons’ training sessions have been in full momentum, as the friendly fixture against El Salvador has knocked on the door. Having trained with the Blaugrana icons, Tyler Hall hopes he can take the field with them soon.

After a year-long stint with Inter Miami’s youth team, Tyler Hall made it to the club’s senior roster this year. In a recent interview, the teenager detailed how he feels to share the stage with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Sergio Busquets, and Jordi Alba. “I mean, it’s been a while that they’ve been here, and I’m still getting used to it. Like, you get onto a feeling like, dang, I’m really next to them. So, I mean, it’s just a great opportunity that I have to train alongside these players and hopefully get onto that field to play with them as well,” said Hall. David Beckham and Co. signed Tyler Hall as a Homegrown Player. It is a rule that allows MLS teams to sign their local or academy-bred players directly to the senior team’s roster.
On the field, the 17-year-old will be by Jordi Alba’s side, bolstering the Herons’ defense. However, he should still wait for his Miami debut, as the club is traveling to El Salvador without him. Meanwhile, the team’s ex-Blaugrana core is lacing up for the friendly.

Inter Miami’s busy training sessions, followed by an even busier schedule
Lionel Messi was perhaps right to skip FIFA’s award ceremony for training. Messi and all his ex-Barca teammates will travel to El Salvador. After the friendly, the Herons will return to the USA to play FC Dallas in another friendly. With a few days to rest, David Beckham’s men would then fly to Saudi Arabia for the highly anticipated Riyadh Season Cup against Al Hilal and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr.
