Shakira and Camila Cabello will soon receive an award for all their philanthropic work to date. The Latin American duo are both involved in the upbringing of underprivileged children. Undoubtedly, the two of them are a major example to basically any and every wealthy individual. While the Waka–Waka singer and Cabello are busy with their music careers, they still decide to donate a chunk of their income.

Just a few weeks ago, the Colombian icon returned to her hometown to oversee the operations of her ‘Barefoot Foundation’. Along with helping poor children, the singer has also become a role model for young girls.

Shakira founded Barefoot Foundation more than two decades ago. Currently, she has a net worth of $300 million. But in 1997, she was still in the inaugural stages of her career. Since then, the singer has strived to help underprivileged children back home. On the other hand, Camila Cabello contributes to the Save the Children Foundation.

For their collective philanthropic efforts, they will receive a different kind of recognition during the 2023 Youth Awards Ceremony. On July 20, both music artists will receive the ‘Agents of Change’ title to their name. Undoubtedly, it is a proud moment for the Latin American duo. Along with helping the needy, the Waka–Waka singer also generates jobs for teachers, caretakers, etc.

Interestingly, she is tied with quite a few other artists for the most nominations. The Agent of Change award will be another addition to her gigantic trophy cabinet. Other than helping children and generating jobs, the singer has also become a role model for one more thing. Over the years, the Hips Don’t Lie singer has become an inspiration for women.

Subsequently, she released Acrostico, and Copa Vacia too. In other words, she didn’t back down. Despite last year being the darkest phase of her life, she continued to push through while doing what she loves the most.
