The second half of the season in the Saudi League will be exciting for neutral fans. Cristiano Ronaldo-led Al Nassr is doing its best to close the seven-point gap between them and current leaders, Al Hilal. However, their current focus will be on the January transfer window. Before they welcome new players, it looks like the club focuses on two exits.

The Knights of Najd must get their January window spot on to mount a reasonable challenge. The fans of the Saudi giants remain optimistic that the club can bring joy and trophies this season. Thus, the club is looking to reshuffle its players.

The Knights of Najd have been in brilliant form in the league and other cup competitions. Since the defeat in the derby against arch-rivals Al Hilal, Al Nassr has not lost a single game in the league. Nevertheless, it does not imply that they will refrain from making squad changes during the January transfer window. According to a local journalist, the club is already working on outgoings. The Saudi giants are open to selling 30-year-old Abdullah Madu and want to loan the 23-year-old Khalid Al-Ghannam.

It is an indication that the club could target two domestic incomings in the squad. Abdullah Madu has made only two appearances this season for the Knights of Najd. Hence, selling him will free up wages for the squad. Khalid Al-Ghannam, on the other hand, spent the second half of the last season on loan with fellow Saudi side Al Fateh. The Knights of Najd hoped he would do well in the first half of this season. However, it seems like he has not yet convinced Luis Castro to give him consistent opportunities.

No doubt, bringing in quality local signings will significantly improve their team. However, the Cristiano Ronaldo-led side hopes to enhance the club by signing some foreign stars in January.

Cristiano Ronaldo hopes to reunite with some of his former teammates!

According to reports, the Knights of Najd could be active in terms of selling foreign players. The club is already hearing proposals for fringe goalkeeper David Ospina. Midfielder Seko Fofana is also linked for a return to Europe after joining the club this summer. The club has already scouted players to get potential replacements for the club.

They are currently linked with two former teammates of Cristiano Ronaldo. Raphael Varane and Casemiro continue to be linked to the Knights of Najd. However, it will be interesting to see whether Manchester United wants to sell the duo in January.
