Post the signing was announced; the attention shifted to Neymar’s 12-year-old son Davi Lucca who gave an impressive interview to the paps backed by fluent English and mature responses.

Quipped about his father’s move to SPL; the 12-year-old expressed excitement for a new chapter in his father’s life. He also admitted that his father’s influence will be beneficial to the league which is showing an improving trajectory so far. “It’s going to be a new experience,” said Lucca. “Let’s try to make people happier and try to change the league. The league is growing, and so are the other teams. It’s amazing to see that people really have something important with my father, and I feel very happy to see that,” David said about his father’s transfer from PSG.

As excited as everyone is to witness Neymar in the SPL; they will have to wait a bit longer as the Brazilian is nursing an injury. And if Al Hilal Head Coach Jorge Jesus’ words are to be taken, it will be a while before we see him!

Unfortunately for Al Hilal fans; they will have to wait nearly a month more before they see Neymar live in action. Speaking post the grand welcome ceremony for his star signing; Jorge Jesus first shared his excitement at having a talent like Neymar at his disposal. However, the gaffer then revealed that he is currently injured and might return only by mid-September.

“Neymar is an innovative and creative player, and he will help us to improve, but he has a slight injury now and I don’t know when he will return. Maybe he will be ready in mid-September,” said Jesus. Interestingly, these comments come right after Brazil called up Neymar for the International break matches.
