With an eye set on international expansion, Gerard Pique has planned Mexico as the next destination for the Kings League. While the league has been a major success in Spain, it will take the Ex-Barcelona star’s efforts to keep the League fresh for the new audience.

In a recent interview with FOX Sports, Pique touched down on the Kings League expansion, commenting on what how the league could pan out in the coming days.

“It’s something we announced recently, and that makes us very excited. The idea is to have a presentation event in mid-October, in Mexico, where we will announce the 12 team presidents, plus the league president.”

“At the end of November will be the draft, with players who live in Mexico, and in December the competition will begin. Chicharito, we’ll see. I can’t say anything. Tomorrow we will reveal something,” added Pique.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Pique’s Kings League in Mexico. However, based on the available information, the ex-Barca star wants to leave no box unchecked. Pique’s Kings League to host Mexican content creators

The ongoing edition of the King’s League split two will see the addition of Mexican content creators Samy Rivera with Pío FC and Juan Guarnizo with Aniquiladores involved in the Men’s and Women’s finals.

While Pique’s personal life has taken a hard nosedive following his split with Shakira. The former Barcelona star wants to keep moving ahead in his quest to promote the Kings League and the Mexico expansion could just be the start for Pique.
