Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds is currently on top of the world. After taking over the Welsh franchise alongside Rob McElhenney, the duo have changed the landscape of the club. With the dreams of taking Wrexham back to their glory days, the duo is a step closer to their goal.

Wrexham had a fairytale run in the National League last season as they clinched automatic promotion to League Two. The team has been one of the biggest success stories of the year, and a lot of credit goes to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. In the latest trailer release for “Welcome to Wrexham S2”, Ryan opened up on his feelings for Wrexham.

Ryan Reynolds labels Wrexham as his most special gift

Following their takeover, the Hollywood duo of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have done a stunning job with Wrexham. The first season of their docuseries, “Welcome to Wrexham” was a great hit amongst fans. Following the team’s big success last season, the docuseries will be back this September with the club’s story toward promotion.

The team has already released a trailer for the second season which shows some interesting glimpses. The trailer has an interesting start as Ryan opens up the act, saying we are all looking at the documentary right there. Later in the trailer, the co-owner speaks about his feelings for the Welsh club.

The choir version of Can’t Take My Eyes Off You by Bob Crewe and Bob Gaudio plays over a part of the trailer. Ryan’s voice can be heard over the clip, saying, “I look at Wrexham as the most special gift I’ve ever had in my life.”

Ryan in August 2019 shared an Instagram post of himself next to a framed painting gifted by his wife. The Wrexham co-owner described the painting as the “Greatest Present” as it took him down the nostalgic road.
