The soap opera between Shakira and Gerard Pique takes a new turn. Pique has posted a pic with Clara Chia on his Instagram account, making their relationship official. It has sparked reactions from the fans, most of them unhappy with the post.

Shakira and Pique announced separation in June last year, sending fans in shock. However, later it was revealed that Pique cheated on the Latin singer, which resulted in their separation. Pique was dating a 23-year-old that sparked an end to a 12-year-old relationship, a heartbreak for the Colombian singer.

Many fans think the former soccer player cheated on Shakira and are unhappy. One fan reminded the soccer star how the singer stood by him when he was going through a bad patch. 

One fan called the former Spanish defender a loser and wants Shakira to release more diss tracks. Other Twitter user feels Pique is making a mockery of himself by posting the pic with his new girlfriend. Here are a few reactions from social media users. 

It will be interesting to see how Shakira reacts to the Instagram post. Last time she came up with a diss track mocking Pique. The Colombian, who is under investigation for tax fraud in Spain, got custody of their children after mutually agreeing with her ex. She sacrificed her career in 2014 and moved to Spain to stay with her partner and children. However, the Queen of Latin Music is back with a bang releasing a record-breaking diss track.

Shakira’s relationship with Pique started in 2010

The Colombian gave arguably the best FIFA anthem for the World Cup that was held in South Africa in 2010. Pique, who was part of Spain’s roster, was featured in the video. The relationship between the two started during the making of the song, and they made it official in 2011.
