Ryan Reynolds hails Wrexham ladies as they achieve a huge milestone

Recently, the Wrexham women achieved a significant milestone in the club’s history as they are set to play in front of the largest crowd ever. The club recently announced they’ve achieved a remarkable milestone for their upcoming match on Sunday against Connah’s Quay Nomads at the Racecourse Ground.

Wrexham has sold more than 6,000 tickets, and the sale of tickets is increasing even more. The club announced it on its social media with the caption, “Another attendance milestone hit for Sunday’s @WrexhamAFCWomen vs Connah’s Quay Nomads match at the Racecourse Ground.”

In fact, owner Ryan Reynolds even gave a shout-out to the women for their achievement. The Holywood actor even shared the post on his Instagram story with the caption, “This Sunday LFG,” thus hailing the Wrexham ladies.

Both the first women’s team and the under-19s will parade their respective trophies at the Racecourse on March 26. They have broken the record of 5,175 during the clash between Cardiff City and Abergavenny in November 2022. However, the club had already broken that record as they sold 4,500 tickets just two weeks before the match.

It’s indeed a joyful moment for Wrexham, as both the men and the ladies are making a name for themselves. While the women are celebrating their remarkable record, the men’s side is also celebrating their dominance in the league.
