Following a dramatic week, the club had just three games left; among them, they needed just two wins to secure promotion. Many thought they would once again drop points. However, Wrexham finally won the match against Yeovil. After playing a goalless first half, Phil Parkinson’s side geared up and put three past the away side. The win has left all the fans wholehearted, and Reynolds also can’t believe it.
Following last night’s win, Reynolds couldn’t hold himself back to write his thoughts about the game. Hence, the actor went on to Twitter to hail his side, “MASSIVE three points. Yeovil Town put on a show. The first 45 min were edgy as hell. Big Saturday match on the way at the Racecourse. This sport continues to be evil.”

It seems Reynolds is still reeling from yesterday’s events, as he couldn’t believe his eyes. In the end, it was a decent win for the Dragons, who are close to climbing to the top of the mountain. Anthony Forde broke the deadlock in the 60th minute. Following 10 minutes, the game was in Wrexham’s hands as James Jones scored the second.
Finally, the match was put to an end on a high note as Mullin scored the last goal, thus sealing the victory for his side. Indeed, it was quite a match, and it seems they are just a few steps away from achieving glory.

The win has definitely given Reynolds and his men a collective reason to sit back and relax. However, they still need to garner much confidence, as they are just a few baby steps away from glory. Following the win, the club now has just two games left to decide its fate. If they manage to win just one of these two, then they can surely start shopping for the celebratory champagne.
The next game is at their home ground against Boreham Wood, whereas the final fixture is on the away turf against Torquay United. They will be more focused than ever to clinch a victory in both fixtures and seal their promotion. Either way, there’s still a lot to enjoy, and fans definitely can’t wait for either of the fixtures.
