The career trajectory path of Trinity Rodman is exciting. She is one of the best players in the current USWNT team and is the highest-paid player in NWSL. Considering her father, Dennis Rodman, played for the Chicago Bulls, everyone predicted Trinity would follow the same path. Basketball remained in the family’s veins, but she had different ideas. After transitioning to soccer, Rodman became one of the household names in the game. Therefore, she developed the game of soccer by competing with her brother, DJ, and not because of her rocky relationship with her father.
Dennis was an iconic player and won five NBA championships, including a remarkable three-peat from 1996 to 98. Trinity once explained the various reasons for falling in love with soccer. Therefore, she now plays a different career than her brother.

Trinity Rodman explains her brother’s influence on soccer
Naturally, children of sports athletes or celebrities follow in the same field as their fathers. But Rodman wanted something different. She explained how her brother came into the picture to edit her career path. According to Guardian, she commented, “It was funny because I really wanted [DJ] to like soccer just like he wanted me to like basketball but we were both like, ‘Nope, this isn’t gonna work.” Currently, he plays basketball for Washington State.
The small forward is gradually understanding the game and appears to become a rising star, like his father. As for Trinity, she is becoming one of the best soccer players for USWNT. Ever since she was a kid, she was passionate about soccer and played it from age four. After her initial lessons in soccer, she started her career with So Cal Blues and won four national championships. That became a stunning achievement.
Soon after, she represented her country at the under-17 and under-20 level and completely transformed her game. Entering the 2021 NWSL draft, Rodman became the youngest player to be drafted in NWSL history when she was 18.

Future Hall of Famer for USWNT?
Considering the golden generation of the USWNT is edging closer to retirement, the younger crop is stepping up to the plate. Alex Morgan and Megan Rapinoe are not getting any younger and will need talented players to replace them on the squad. Considering the form she showcased during the SheBelieves Cup, Rodman plays the game like a duck to water.
Hence, the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup would probably be the coronation of a new legend amongst the USWNT. Winning three consecutive World Cups would be on USWNT’s list, and Trinity Rodman hopes to complete a three-peat for USWNT, just like her father did for the Chicago Bulls.
