The FIFA Qatar World Cup is just around the corner and Wayne Rooney will be supporting the ‘Three Lions’ from home. He played in three World Cups with England but scored just one goal. However, he retired as his nation’s all-time top-scorer with 53 goals. Rooney has recently made the headlines after being called out by his former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo. Rooney later came up with a classy response and said that CR7 is a ‘fantastic’ player.
The build-up to the World Cup has been incredible, with fans and pundits already predicting the outcomes of the mega-event. Rooney, who is the coach of MLS’s DC United, predicted a thrashing of USMNT at the hands of England.

I don't know what the score of the match will be, but I love that the English think it will be easy. We need for them to be playing like the game won't be too challenging, since their overall talent level is above ours.
