Wrexham were held to a 0-0 draw against Barnet at the Hive Stadium. Ryan Reynolds’ side couldn’t create enough chances and are now 4 points ahead of Notts County in the league.

The first half ended scoreless, with both teams having a fair share of chances to score. Barnet’s build-up play lacked the potency, but they managed to hold their ground against Ryan Reynolds’ side. Wrexham, on the other side, had incisive passing but failed to create quality chances for their target man, Paul Mullin.

Wrexham sits 1st in the National League table after amassing the 100-mark in both goals and points. Now they have just 3 games left before they can celebrate their historic promotion. It has been a long wait for the Welsh side. However, this time it could be the moment the fans and the club have been waiting for.

Three games left

After an away draw at Barnet, Wrexham now plays two straight games at their home, the Racecourse Ground. They will host Yeovil Town on 18th April, which currently sits in the relegation zone. While many would think that this could be an easy game for Wrexham, Yeovil will come out all guns blazing to fight for their survival.

Wrexham will then host Boreham Wood, who is in a sound position to reach the promotional playoffs. A win for Boreham could further push their chances of making it to the promotion qualification.

While many would like Wrexham’s ultimate game to be at the Racecourse, it will be relegation-battling side Torquay United, who will host Ryan Reynolds’ side. The tickets for the final game were sold out in just 3 mins with fans waiting for around 12 hrs. A total of 1391 tickets were available for fans to attend the game at Plainmoor.
