The CBS Sports Golazo shows have remained on top of the soccer show ratings. They have some of the wildest takes in soccer and continue to excite audiences with their insights. But in AC Milan’s defeat to Liverpool, Christian Pulisic appeared in a post-match interview on CBS Sports Golazo. When Micah Richards and Jamie Carragher questioned him regarding his performance, Thierry Henry just looked at his notes and said, ‘No.’
It caused a pretty awkward moment as Henry criticized the American winger’s performances in recent seasons. Therefore, even if AC Milan lost their game against Bayer Leverkusen, Henry showered praise on Pulisic after his displays in the game.
He pointed out, “Finally, he’s delivering back-to-back-to-back-to-back games. Now we can talk. That’s why I said two years ago put something on a table for us to talk. He is doing that now.”

Pulisic scored a goal against Liverpool and ran the show yesterday against Bayer Leverkusen. Yet, his previous performances failed to impress Henry. If you look at his career, Pulisic has played for multiple top clubs. Think of Borussia Dortmund where he impressed on the grand stage. But in terms of output, not much.
He scored just 19 goals and created 26 assists in 127 matches. Those numbers don’t appeal much. Likewise, for Chelsea, he scored 26 goals and created 19 assists in 145 appearances. Even those numbers fail to see what a sensational player he is. Therefore, Henry’s awkward no-question moment took the news.
