But the huge problem that is holding up is whether he will stay with Real Madrid or PSG. This is because he would require special permission from his club. The national teams are allowed three players over the age of 23 in the Olympics.
Hence, it will be interesting to see whether Kylian Mbappe is one of the three in the team. But, as far as his competitor Lionel Messi is concerned, the Argentinian could return to Paris.
