“They’ve Destroyed Everything” – Gerard Pique’s Ex Shakira and Her Children Were Attacked by Wild Boars Back in 2021

Since Shakira and Gerard Pique announced their split in June of last year, they have been embroiled in a public feud. Drama and controversies have dominated the ten months that have passed since the split. Each day, there have been new disclosures and new news following this messy split.

However, Shakira now appears to be in the next phase of her life, as she has moved to Miami with her children after living in Barcelona with Pique for almost a decade. Shakira places a significant value on her children. She even tried her hardest to get custody of her children, and in the end, she got it.

However, there’s one bad experience that Shakira had with her kids that is sure to be remembered as one of her most memorable.

Shakira and her son once got attacked by a wild boar

In September 2021, Shakira and Pique were still together and living in Barcelona. It was at this time when Shakira and her eldest son, Milan, went for a walk in the park. Little did they know that their peaceful stroll would soon be interrupted by a wild boar.

Shakira shared the terrifying incident on her Instagram story, telling her followers that the wild boar swiped her bag off her shoulder and tried to take it away. She shared the tale through videos where she showed off her ripped-off bag. “Look at how two wild boar which attacked me in the park have left my bag,” Shakira said.

She further added, “They were taking my bag to the woods with my mobile phone in it. They’ve destroyed everything”. Shakira then turned to her son Milan saying, “Milan tell the truth. Say how your mummy stood up to the wild boar”. 

Shakira and her son managed to escape the boar attack unscathed. This was still no doubt a horrifying experience for the singer and her young son who was 8 at the time. The presence of wild boars is traditional in Barcelona, yet they can be unpredictable and dangerous.
