McElhenney further added, “And that people want to play for this club. And they all talk, all the players talk across the leagues, and they see what’s going on in Wrexham and they want to come play for Phil (Wrexham manager)”. According to McElhenney, it’s not just the stardom of Hollywood actors and docuseries that is the reason.
