He said, “The infrastructure, I think they need to improve a little bit more. Even the referees, the VAR system. I think they should be little quicker,” speaking about improvements in the league.

The five-time Ballon d’Or gave a significant update on his future while speaking about the league, “But I am happy here, I want to continue here, I will continue here.” He went on to predict the future of the Saudi Pro League after the next five years. He said, “And in my opinion if they continue to do the work that they want to do for the next five years, I think Saudi League can be the fifth in the world.”
