The Welshman spoke about the more relaxed atmosphere in America, particularly in comparison to his former club, Real Madrid. “Obviously it’s more relaxed,” he said. “At Real Madrid, if you lose a game it’s like the world is ending, you feel down. At MLS they kind of accept losing a bit more,” Bale added.

It is well known that the pressure to perform is much greater in Europe, particularly at top clubs like Real Madrid where every game is scrutinized by the media and fans alike.
