The likes of Pulisic, Reyna, and Dest have made it to the top level of international soccer, thus helping to build a good reputation for the USMNT. In fact, American coaches are also leading Europe’s elite clubs.
USMNT Reunion at Premier League
Oftentimes, we witness players and coaches that are from the same country and club. After all, it always feels good to have a fellow countryman on your side.
And just like that, Leeds will also host a reunion of American teammates, as the club is closing a deal for Weston McKennie. The midfielder is arriving from Italian giants Juventus on loan until the end of the season, with a purchase option to buy for €33 million and add-ons.
The player will travel to England to sign for the West Yorkshire club after undergoing a medical. It is a significant win for the Whites as the midfielder had a potential interest from Arsenal.

Premier League sides Fulham and Nottingham were also eyeing a move for the 24-year-old. However, the player had already agreed on a move to Elland Road.
It is a brilliant move for the Juventus man, who will also be joining his fellow American teammates, Brendon Aronson and skipper Tyler Adams. Furthermore, he’ll also get managed by fellow countryman Jesse Marsch. This is quite exciting for the USMNT, as fans will be witnessing a small reunion at the Premier League.
Leeds is currently sitting at 15th and is looking to reinforce their squad with key signings. Marsch is being criticized for his job at Elland Road, thus he’ll be looking to get his side back. Moreover, the addition of McKennie will give the 49-year-old enough depth for the center half of the pitch.
Fans react to the get-together
McKennie’s transfer to Leeds will bolster Jesse Marsch’s side. Moreover, a mini-USMNT get-together has become the talk of the town for netizens. Hence, the soccer world has been reacting to this on Twitter.

This is huge. It’s not just three Americans. It’s three of the starting XI! Americans will naturally have a soft spot for Leeds – those who’ve gotten into the premier league the last 3-4 years. It will be hard not to love this team.

Can’t come up with a better name than Fulhamerica, or the list of players. McBride. Dempsey. Bocanegra. Keller. Hahnemann. Eddie Lewis, and Eddie Johnson! Luca de la Torre. Hyndman. Fossey. Ream. Robinson. That’s just first team players. 🇺🇸 owner too

Of course, it’s a proud moment for the whole country, who’ll see all four Americans in soccer’s most prestigious championship. Fans must be waiting for them to kick off their course of action. Nevertheless, it’s indeed a proud moment for the U.S.
