In a recent interview, the Welshman finally opened up on the bold decision. As per Mullin, Ryan Reynolds, Rob McElhenney and the rest of Wrexham management had to do a lot of convincing and promises. He finally agreed to them and luckily, the decision has proved to be fruitful so far.
“They had to win me over in terms of what the plans were for the Club,” Mullin revealed. “I had to buy into that and believe what they were telling me. Everything they’ve promised me, they’ve stuck to.”

“They genuinely care,” said Paul. “It’s not a façade or fake for the television; it’s nothing like that. They’ll text and ask how the family are, or how you’re feeling going into the next game and general chit-chat to keep in touch.”
