The two big changes were enough to turn the game, with Fernandez finding the winner for Chelsea.

Wimbledon manager Johnnie Jackson had some strong words following the game as he mentioned that Chelsea had to bank on their $100 million signings to save the game. “It’s a testament to our game that they had to bring two £100million players on the pitch to win the game,” he said.

Despite the loss, Wimbledon had huge talking points from the game as they managed to give Chelsea a run for their money.
