Hakimi is currently facing a divorce. His wife, Hiba Abouk, filed for divorce earlier this year. In her petition, she demanded half of the fortunes of Hakimi. However, the court informed the Spanish actress that Hakimi owns nothing and all his properties and money are in his mother’s name, Fatima.

Achraf Hakimi accepts the apology

During the game against RC Lens, Hakimi won the ball near the PSG penalty area. However, RC Lens player Salis Abdul Samed went on to win the ball back from the PSG defender. In the process, Samed ended up stomping on the back of Hakimi’s ankle, injuring him. The referee sent off the Lens player for the action.

Samed took it to Twitter to apologize to Hakimi and Lens fans after his club lost 3-1. He wrote, “Very sad to have left the team in this way. I apologize to those I disappointed and to Achraf Hakimi. I had no bad intentions and I really regret it, I apologize with all Lensois.”

The PSG defender has responded to the apology issued by Samed. While accepting the apology from the Lens midfielder, Hakimi wrote“These are things that happen in football. Good luck for the rest of the season!” It was a brilliant result for PSG as they beat their nearest title rivals to extend the lead at the top with seven games remaining.
