Al Nassr is enjoying a great run of form. Their victory against Al Duhail in the AFC Champions League means they are unbeaten in the last 17 games. A noticeable absence in the game against Al Duhail was that of Cristiano Ronaldo. Yet, the team showed great attacking prowess and scored 3 goals against the Qatar-based side. While Coach Luis Castro seems to be pleased with the results, it’s quite normal to believe that good things do not last forever. In the post-match interview, Castro opened up on his team’s performance and his plans after Al Nassr.

It is easy to forget that Castro joined the club only in July following the departure of Rudi Garcia to Napoli. Despite the lofty expectations, the former Porto coach has adapted to the side like a duck to water. Al Nassr sits just 4 points from the top of the league and Luis Castro has played a pivotal role in their improved performances.
