The Colombian singer has used that diss track as a means to vent her frustration against her ex-boyfriend. That caused the diss track to have strong phrases and words. In recent times, Pique’s reputation has taken a major hit due to the diss track.

In the coming months, even their children will seemingly start facing problems in school. Just days after releasing the diss track, a popular Mexican singer had subtly advised Shakira to not compose more diss tracks, considering her kid’s well-being.

The Colombian singer released her first diss track with Bizarrap in January. In the beginning, it was all fun before the fanbase turned on Gerard Pique. The soccer veteran and his new girlfriend then struggled to move out of their home due to the over-eager paparazzi in Barcelona. Just days after she released the track, a popular Mexican singer subtly issued the star a warning.

The person in the limelight is Lucero. The Mexican singer parted ways with Mijares in 2011. However, the couple had two children too. For the sake of their kid’s well-being, the two of them have maintained a friendly relationship to date. In fact, Lucero still performs with Mijares on stage. In January, she posted a clip of their performances and wrote a very thoughtful caption.

She wrote, “There is no Rolex or Casio here. Here are a couple of friends singing for our audience with all their hearts!”, as per Google Translate. She was basically referring to this line from Shakira’s diss track. “You traded in a Ferrari for a Twingo. You traded in a Rolex for a Casio”, as per Genius. While the lyric was extremely savage, Lucero had seemingly spotted a potential future red flag.

In retrospect, she was quite right about the same! After landing in Miami, the singer had to release a public notice asking the paparazzi to leave her children alone.

Around a month ago, a Spanish journalist slated the former celebrity couple for their behavior. Alfonso Arus reiterated the fact that their kids had always lived a normal life. He claimed that the Colombian singer’s diss tracks had created a lot of ‘expectation’. Arus publicly accused the singer of ‘overexposing’ her children.

He said, “The only thing that now shocks everyone is that he tells us that we overexpose”. In all honesty, Arus was quite right about it. Because Shakira is currently facing the heat from the media.

Reportedly, she has been looking for a new home on Fischer Island that would largely separate her from the normal life hustle in Miami. As of now, the public controversy between Shakira and Gerard Pique has reached quite a critical stage. The jury is still out there on whether the Colombian will compose more diss tracks against her former partner.
