Two soccer clubs with over a century-old legacy, Wrexham and Bournemouth, don’t necessarily hold any links with each other. But it seems these clubs have a connection because of their famous owners. Recently, Hollywood actor Michael B. Jordan reacted to Ryan Reynolds’ new venture.

Reynolds became the owner of Wrexham AFC back in 2020. It didn’t take much longer for Creed superstar to join the Deadpool star’s territory, as he became a minor investor in Bournemouth AFC in 2022. Now, the two teams are making waves with their celebrity owners.

This got an unexpected response from the Black Panther actor, who commented on the post to show his support for the new project. Michael B. Jordan revealed the role Reynolds’ investment played in his own decision during an appearance on Late Night with James Corden. “I was like, ‘if he can do it, I can do it!'” Jordan said of Reynolds. “And I just went for it”. It remains to be seen if Jordan will have the same level of success with Bournemouth as Reynolds has had with Wrexham, but one thing is for sure: he’s off to a good start.
