This is not the first time LeBron has lauded the Argentine soccer star. The LA Lakers star was present at the DNV x PNK Stadium last year during Messi’s debut game against Cruz Azul. LeBron was seen exchanging some words with the Inter Miami star during their brief interaction as he took to his social media to appreciate La Pulga following his dream debut.

LeBron was appreciative of the Argentine’s move to the country considering how it would boost the sport across the nation. “Seeing the GOAT of soccer, Lionel Messi grace the MLS with his great presence is a game-changer for us. His arrival not only elevates the league but also inspires a new generation of soccer fans in our country.”

The part-owner of Liverpool FC then added, “It takes an unparalleled dedication, work ethic, and talent to achieve what Messi has, and I have nothing but respect and admiration for him. I’m wishing all the best to him.”
