It has been a remarkable few days for Wrexham AFC. The club recently clinched significant success as they achieved promotion to the Football League. The celebrations have been wild so far, as the whole city can’t stop toasting the club’s success. Stars including Paul Mullin and Ben Tozer continue celebrating the emphatic success.
Talking about Mullin, the player has played a crucial role at the club. Aside from being a star for the Red Dragons, he is also the face of an autism charity. He is an ambassador for the Wrexham-based charity Your Space. Support for his charity was recently shown by UFC star Conor McGregor.
The notorious has his own beer brand, ‘Forged’ Irish Stout. Therefore, he set up a pop-up truck outside the stadium to sell his beer before Wrexham’s game against Yeovil Town. In fact, he also made Mullin’s day after making a generous donation to his charity. This has instigated the Wrexham striker to regard the UFC star.

“I was totally taken aback by it but the work they do there it earns good donations. But thank you very much to Conor because he didn’t have to do that, he’s gone out of his way to help a really brilliant organization and charity.” McGregor also wrote a heartwarming caption below the video. “So great to see Forged Stout visit Wrexham AFC and The Turf Hotel to support the amazing Your Space foundation which raises awareness and support for Autism. Great day, great town, great cause!”
This was earlier announced by McGregor, who tweeted about the cause, “Taking my @ForgedStout tank in to the absolute magic that is happening at @Wrexham_AFC, and in aid of helping a great charity ‘Your Space’ that raises awareness and support for autism. Drop by and show love if you are in town. Try out the game changer.”
This later promoted another thank you message from Mullin, who tweeted. “We Appreciate it Champ Champ.” Indeed, it is a brilliant gesture from McGregor, even if he intended to promote his brand. But it seems now Mullin is packing bags for his trip to Las Vegas.
