Liverpool fans will have to move on from their golden era in recent times. Jurgen Klopp, the club’s most successful manager after the inception of the Premier League has bid adieu to the club against Wolverhampton Wanderers today. And with the fans already getting expressive during the game, his wife Ulla Sandrock stirred a lot more emotions from them on social media.
The German manager won them their maiden Premier League title in the 2019-2020 season apart from 12 other titles including the UEFA Champions League and the Club World Cup. But Klopp had finally found it enough and announced in January that his departure was certain after the season much to the fans’ disappointment.
However, as long as it lasted, much of the credit goes to Sandrock who played a vital role in him not just joining and remaining at Anfield but also snubbing rivals Manchester United as the replacement for Sir Alex Ferguson. Hence, during today’s farewell for Jurgen Klopp, things got very reflective when Sandroick was seen singing ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone,’ holding a Liverpool scarf.

Meanwhile, in 2022 citing the reason for his contract renewal, the departing Liverpool boss stated, “Why? Is now the question. Because Ulla wants to stay and as a good husband what are you doing when your wife wants to stay? You are staying,” recognizing his wife’s role.
However, this time she was fine with the former Borussia Dortmund coach leaving as he had a valid reason citing his well-being. Nevertheless, the bond between Liverpool and Klopp cannot be broken so easily despite his choosing to move on. Hence the fans took the opportunity to acknowledge him and his wife’s contribution.

The fan page itself posted another message thanking her for influencing the coach to extend the contract in 2022, “Klopp and Ulla ❤️. Thank you for keeping him here one more year, Ulla.”
