Former Argentinian and Barcelona superstar Gabriel Milito wants primary schools around the world to teach the ‘Lionel Messi subject.’ Yes, you heard that right, the legendary defender wants his fellow countrymen to be taught as a subject in schools. While speaking with TNT Sports Argentina, he said, “He is an example of persistence.”
“I think that in primary school there should be a Leo Messi subject and thus tell the boys his life story, for everything he had to go through and suffer to be world champion with the National Team”. Milito suggests it will help the toddlers learn about all the difficulties they faced to become the best players ever.
He also spoke about Messi’s empathic World Cup triumph. “Time put things in their place. Now we can say that the house is in order, he is an example for many Argentines”. The former Barcelona defender was very happy to see La Pulga lift the prestigious trophy. Both Messi and Milito have had good memories with each other.
