They are currently sitting in fourth place, with nine points behind leaders Arsenal. Last night, Erik Ten Hag’s side cruised past Charlton in the EFL Cup. An early goal from Martial and late double strikes from Rashford secured a place in the semi-finals.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ owners’ transfer plans
It is reported that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers owners are eyeing a move for England No. 1 Jordan Pickford. The Toffees goalkeeper has impressed the owners at Manchester who is pondering a move for the 28-year-old.
Rumor runs that Pickford is demanding a staggering £200,000 a week to keep his foot in the Merseyside club. However, they might face tough competition from fellow rivals, Tottenham, who are also keeping tabs on the player.

The spurs are also looking for a keeper in the market to find a long-term replacement for Hugo Lloris. Man United are currently looking for a keeper who can give competition to their current No. 1, David de Gea.
The Red Devils recently sanctioned a loan deal for Jack Butland after Martin Dubravka’s loan spell ended. Hence, both teams are in contention to sign the player and are willing to double his wages.
However, reports from the Sun suggest that Pickford has no intention of leaving the Merseyside club. The club is in a relegation battle, yet Pickford has the desire to stay and help the club.
Who are the Glazers?
Malcolm Glazer was the founder of the family business, who had already invested in a few businesses and real estate by 1970. By 1995, the Glazers bought National Football League side Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a whopping $192 million.
Soon after a decade, the American tycoons brought the Manchester club in 2005 for $942 million. The deal is highly leveraged, as it has loaded heavy debt onto the club since then. However, in 2012, they sold 10% of the club’s holdings through US listings; the rest belongs to the family.

Over the years, the Glazers have been criticized by fans and have been lashed out many times. Ever since the end of the Ferguson era, the club has seen a drastic fall in Europe. Moreover, major protests from fans have tempted the Glazers to sell the club, and they are looking for a potential buyer.
It’s still unclear as to who will buy the English giants. For now, United fans must keep faith in the owners of the club and hope for the best.
