Ryan Reynolds wants more automatic promotion spots
Ryan Reynolds was out of breath after the sensational win for his club. He spoke to BT Sport after the game ended. Reynolds shared his views about the game and the league. He called for more than one automatic promotion spot in the National League and feels both teams deserve to be in League Two without playing the playoffs.
Reynolds said, “It’s just insane to me that in these league only one goes up automatically. If it were different, and I think it should be, both of these clubs would be celebrating together right now. Because what they’ve done is not only created drama unlike anything you’d ever seen in a damn movie, but just something that I think people will be talking about for ages.”

“I mean, the fact that this much attention has come upon the National League in this way, I think is incredibly special and, you know, immensely worthy of the talents of not only Wrexham but Notts County as well,” Reynolds added.
Notts County has gone neck-to-neck with leaders in Wrexham. County has 100 points in the league and scored 108 goals so far, one less than Wrexham. Both the clubs have set them apart from others and are the likely candidates to take both promotion spots from the National League.
