One of the massive questions on the minds of soccer fans is the future of Lionel Messi. The PSG superstar will leave the club after the season ends. His transfer speculation is making rounds, and the Saudi Arabian club has offered a massive deal to the World Cup winner.

Al Hilal has offered Messi a massive billion-dollar deal over two seasons. Reports are emerging that Messi’s entourage accepted the contract, and we could see him playing in Saudi Arabia next season. Now the Saudi Pro League manager linked with Al Hilal has made some revelations about Messi.

Spanish coach Vicente Moreno currently manages the Saudi Pro League club Al Shabab. He took over the club last year and is already contemplating his future. Al-Hilal is one of the suitors for Moreno, who recently spoke to Spanish media, Cadena SER. During the interview, he spoke about the possible arrival of Messi and other superstars in the Gulf nation.

Moreno said“I’ve been taking it for granted for a long time–Messi’s arrival in Saudi Arabia.” It is a massive statement from the coach over Lionel Messi joining Saudi Arabia. But he feels the seven-time Ballon d’Or won’t arrive for money. “Then we are talking about a player who currently, I do not think, has the need to make a decision that is solely and exclusively linked to money. That is clear to me,” Moreno added.

The Gulf nation is sending incredible economic offers to other targets, too. Reports also linked several European stars with a move to Saudi Arabia, and Moreno talked, especially about former Messi teammates. “We are talking about economic offers that it is not easy to say no either. I think it’s a good option. In fact, here there is also talk of the possibility of Busquets, Alba and other players coming,” he continued.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s move from Manchester United to Real Madrid ignited arguably the best soccer rivalry with Messi. Ronaldo stayed in Madrid for nine years and ruled soccer with Messi in those years. The duo were going head-to-head for Ballon d’Or awards and goalscoring records. However, Ronaldo’s move to Juventus made people talk somewhat less about the rivalry.
