“Takes a Village” – Megan Rapinoe’s Fiancé Sue Bird Excited After Being Honored Among the Best Female Founders

Megan Rapinoe and Sue Bird are one power couple. Both have gathered significant fame over the years and have made quite a name for themselves. The decorated celebrity couples share seven Olympic medals between them and have won numerous accolades, in soccer and basketball, respectively.

They came together in 2017 after publicly announcing their relationship. While Bird might have been retired, Rapinoe, on the other hand, is still keeping her boots dirty as she continues to play. Either way, both work tirelessly, on or off the pitch. In fact, the couple is even involved in different ventures.

One such venture of Bird is Togrthxr, a media and commerce company. The company was founded in 2021. It has been two years since the company started, and it seems, the founder is already getting a lot of fame for it.

Sue Bird shares thrilling message after getting honored

For many of those who don’t know, Togrthxr is a media and commerce company that was founded by four of the best female athletes in the world. The prestigious list includes Sue Bird, Chloe Kim, Alex Morgan, and Simon Manuel.

Inc. is a New York-based American magazine that released a list of the most inspiring women in business. Hence, among the list, there’s the name of Bird, along with the other co-founder and chief content creator, Jessica Robertson. Both are the honorees of the magazine’s “Female Founders 200.”

It is indeed a historic achievement, and it seems Bird is also excited about the news. The latter even shared the news with her Instagram followers and had a few exciting words. The former basketball player wrote, “Takes a Village.” It seems the player is quite excited about being honored by such a prestigious magazine. She has been honored for her efforts in two of her ventures, Togethxr and A Touch More. Bird must be thrilled with the news, as she has made the other founders proud.

In fact, this would have surely made the former WNBA star’s day, and she will be hoping to get such recognition in the upcoming years. However, her fiance’s news might upset her.

Megan Rapinoe left out of USWNT Roster

Rapinoe must be thrilled to see her partner’s achievement, however, the player must be upset about the news on her international front. The forward was not included in the USWNT roster that was released earlier this week.

Vlatko Andonovski released the list of players who were called up to play the friendly fixtures against the Republic of Ireland. This would be the last friendly meet up, as all the teams would then meet at the 2023 World Cup.
