Suspicious Shakira Shockingly Hired a Private Detective for Gerard Pique’s Affair With New Girlfriend Clara Chia Marti: Reports

Shakira and Gerard Pique recently celebrated their birthdays on 02nd February. However, the storm around the ex-couple isn’t settling soon. Now, reports from Spain suggest that Shakira hired a private detective when she was suspicious of the ‘strawberry jam jar’ to trap Pique.

The power couple separated last year in June over alleged cheating by Pique. Since the separation, they have been in the news for various reasons. Whether it was tax fraud accusations against the Colombian, custody of their children, or the singer posting heart-melting posts of her vacation with children. 

The saga took a new turn when Shakira released the BZRP Music Sessions #53 track in January, directed at cheating Pique and his new girlfriend. The track kept breaking records of streaming, and Pique came out making his relationship official with Clara Chia on social media. To add to the ongoing saga, reports of the Waka Waka singer hiring private detectives last year have emerged. 

Shakira hired private detectives last year

The year 2022 came as a troublesome year for the power couple Shakira and Pique when they separated after 11 years of relationship. It all started with the singer’s suspicion about the ex-soccer star cheating on her. As per reports from Spain, Shakira was worried about the schedule of her ex during her trips.

However, in January 2022, Shakira decided to go overboard and hire private detectives when the former Barcelona defender was out for 17 days. It was during these days detectives were able to get the first photographs of Pique and his girlfriend Clara Chia.

Shakira suggested Pique have couples counseling after the photographs surfaced. Meanwhile, Pique rejected the proposal and asked Shakira to return to Barcelona. However, things didn’t go according to plans, and in June last year, they got separated amid the ex-soccer star’s cheating.

Suspicions started over the strawberry jam jar

There were reports earlier the Hips Don’t Lie singer discovered the infidelity of her ex-partner when she saw an empty strawberry jam jar. When she returned from a US tour, she saw her jar of jam was half empty. Pique and her children don’t like the flavor at all. It started everything further, resulting in the singer hiring private detectives. 

Shakira has arrived with a bang with her diss track to reignite her music career. There are reports that the Latin singer will release another song this month. It will be interesting to see how the new song is welcomed by the fans. Only time will tell whether it will be another diss track or not.
