“Super Handsome Movie Star”- Actor Charlie Day Details Ever Growing Friendship Between Co-Star Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds With Wrexham Connection

It seems Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have become great buddies over time. Their friendship started over an Instagram direct message. It resulted in the Hollywood duo taking over the world’s third-oldest soccer club Wrexham AFC. Recently, Reynolds made an incredible video to wish McElhenney on his birthday, highlighting the extent of their friendship.

Charlie Day, co-star of McElhenney from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, recently shed light on the growing friendship of Wrexham owners. He was on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show. Day spoke about Reynolds and McElhenney’s friendship, drinking beer at the Racecourse Stadium during the Wrexham game, and others.

Charlie Day is a famous American actor known for his Charlie Kelly role in It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia. He is a co-creator of the comedy show with McElhenney. Day is also the writer for the show as well as the executive producer. He was on Jimmy Kimmel Live Show, where the host asked about the growing friendship between Reynolds and McElhenney. Kimmel also asked whether Day is jealous of the friendship between Wrexham owners.

Charlie Day started, “He’s trying to trade up on me you know,” when Kimmel asked whether Reynolds is taking away his friend. Day added, “That’s all fine, and I’m proud of him, but it’s the fact that he’s got the super handsome movie star best friend who just keeps being like, ‘you know what, I made another billion dollars today. I sold a phone company.'” It was a friendly jibe by the actor on the Deadpool star who recently sold his mobile company. 

“He had this like a high production birthday song for Rob. I mean, the guy put in like a hundred thousand dollars in your birthday gift. It’s like a bad movie from the 1980s. You know what I mean, where the sports jack steals your friend,” Charlie Day continued his friendly jibe on Reynolds.

The Red Dragons will play high-profile games in the preseason

Wrexham owners announced earlier that the club will go on the US tour for the preseason. They promised some high-profile games on the tour and fulfilled it. The Red Dragons will play against the Premier League giants Manchester United and Chelsea in the preseason.
